Rubber Powered Airplane Kits / FF-07
Supermarine Spitfire Mk 1
The Spitfire was designed by R. J. Mitchell in 1936 and is the most
well known British aircraft of WWII. It served in every area of
combat. Our model was designed in 1942 and is qualified to fly in
Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests. It is a 1/12 scale,
flying model that uses the Box and Former
building method.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a
full-size rolled plan, building and flying instructions, printed
balsa wood, hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, propeller,
nose package, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing
gear, Easy Built Lite tissue in light grey
and olive green, and TissueCal markings - markings printed
directly on the tissue. You will need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.
