Hawker Hurricane
This kit is a 1/13 scale, flying model that uses the Box
and Former method of construction. Model Craft. Qualifies for
Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) competitions.
During WWII, at a time when planes were desperately needed by the
British, the Hurricane fit the requirement for an effective fighter
that could be manufactured and put into service quickly. During
the Battle of Britain, the Hurricane accounted for the majority of
the planes shot down by the RAF.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size
rolled plan, building and flying instructions, hand-picked competition
weight printed balsa and balsa strip wood, rubber motor,
propeller, thrust button, clear plastic for the windshield,
wheels, wire, TissueCal™ markings, and Easy
Built Lite tissue in brown, light grey and evergreen. You will
need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.
