This thoroughly streamlined model was designed for endurance and
contest flying. It is simple to execute, durable, and has exceptional
flying ability. The Rainbow uses the Box and
Former
method for simplified building. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Society
of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size
rolled plan, building and flying instructions, printed balsa wood,
hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package,
clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, and Easy
Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.

"The Rainbow I now have trimmed out and am flying with 8 strands
of 1/8 tan super sport 27" long. It is proving to be a fantastic
flyer. So far we have been flying it just late in the evening (when
there is no wind or lift) with about 1050 winds we have gotten flights
right around 1 min 10 sec. Again that is in no lift. I also wanted
to say thanks for making these kits available my Father and I love
old time rubber models and the Easy Built stuff has been a lot of
