Westland Lysander
This two-seat high-winged monoplane was famous for its nocturnal
flights into occupied Europe, dropping supplies and agents behind
enemy lines. Kit FF-58 Westland Lysander is a 1/12 scale, flying
model that uses the Box and Former method
of construction. This jumbo model is very popular for
conversion to electric or gas powered flight. Pre-1942 design, eligible for SAM (Society of Antique
Modelers) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size
rolled plan, building and flying instructions, hand picked competition
weight printed balsa and balsa strip wood, clear plastic for the windshield,
wheels, landing gear wire, and Easy
Built Lite tissue in olive green and desert tan. You will need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.
If you are going to fly this plane with rubber power then
choose the kit + rubber powered set. This also includes a propeller,
