Supermarine Spitfire (Laser Cut)
Kit LC-01 Spitfire is a scale flying model with LASER CUT balsa
wood parts. Includes a vacuum-formed canopy and markings.
The most famous British aircraft of the WWII era, the Spitfire was
conceived as an interceptor, with high speed, heavy armament, high
rate of climb and the agility to make repeated attacks, as well
as to fight off escorting aircraft. It's characteristic elliptical
wing shape, thinner than any other fighter of the day, coupled with
an innovative aerodynamic ducted radiator produced extra power worth
70 hp at 300 mph. If you love the Spitfire but want to spend more
time flying than building, then we recommend this laser cut version.
It goes together fast, is easy to trim out and start flying.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size
rolled plan, building and flying instructions, highest quality
laser cut balsa wood parts, hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber
motor, propeller, nose package, wheels, vacuum-formed canopy,
radiators and spinner, TissueCal™
markings (lighter than press-on or water slide decals because they
are printed directly on the tissue), and Easy
Built Lite tissue in light sky blue, desert tan, and evergreen.
You will need a building board, pins, hobby
knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
