Curtiss Helldiver
This kit is a 1/23 scale flying model that uses the Precision
Beam method of construction. Qualifies for Society of Antique
Modelers (SAM) competitions.
The Helldiver was a carrier-based dive bomber produced for the US
Navy during WWII. It sank more enemy aircraft in the Pacific war than
any other US or Allied aircraft.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size
rolled plan, building and flying instructions, printed balsa wood,
hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package,
wheels, landing gear, vacuum-molded exhaust, air scoop, and canopies
for front and rear cabins, TissueCal markings (markings printed
directly on the tissue), and Easy Built Lite tissue
in dark grey, light sky blue, and light navy. You will need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.
