Rubber Powered Airplane Kits / FF-75
Stuka Dive Bomber
This kit is a 1/18 scale, flying model that uses the Box
and Former method of construction. Pre-1942 design, eligible
for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
The Stuka was Germany’s most famous dive bomber of WWII, recognizable
by its inverted gull-wings and fixed undercarriage. Stuka innovations
included an automatic pull-up system to ensure that the plane recovered
from its attack dive even if the pilot blacked out, and wind-powered
sirens on the wheel covers that wailed during dives to scare its
victims.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a
full-size rolled plan, building and flying instructions, hand-picked
competition weight printed balsa and balsa strip wood, rubber motor,
propeller, thrust button, vacuum-molded canopy, wheels,
wire, TissueCal™ markings, and Easy
Built Lite tissue in olive and light sky blue. You will need
a building
board, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.
