Arthur C. Chester introduced his home-built racer at the 1933 National Air Races at Los Angeles, CA. His best speed at the race was 154.365 MPH. By making changes to the prop, spinner, and streamlining the cockpit Chester continued to increase his speed ultimately achieving over 230 MPH.
This kit is a 1:16 scale flying model. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Flying Aces Club Dime Scale and Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This LASER CUT free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, printed balsa and hand-picked balsa stripwood, FAI rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear wire, LaserCal™ and TissueCal™ markings, and Easy Built Lite tissue in kelly green and creme. To build this model you will need a building board set, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
