Aircraft Kits / Jetex/Rapier Engines
Jetex engines are no longer manufactured. Rapier motors which
are more reliable are used instead. If you discover
other suppliers, please let us know and we will add them.

SAMS Models carries Rapier motors and accessories. I am told by
George at SAMS that Rapier is a small business with
limited production capabilities so he can't always get the stock
he needs. You may have to get on a waiting list. Just email George
with your needs and he will let you know when it's available.
For some how-to and lots of
photos of JETEX planes, check out Mike's
Flying Scale Model Pages. A
great, no a fantastic web site created
by Mike Stuart in Britain.
Scroll down the home page and click on Rapier photo gallerys or
go to the techniques section for building help. Mike has an article
on building your JETEX plane which includes information on motors.

We make 10 different kits for Jetex and Rapier flight.

If Rapier motors are on backorder why not try using a catapult
to launch your plane? Here is one designed by Dave Helps. A
catapult designed for launching jetex models.
