Kit JX-08 Douglas F4D (F6) Skyray is a 1/30 built-up scale, flying model. Includes a vacuum-formed canopy. For Rapier, Jetex 50 or catapult rubber.
 
The Skyray was the first carrier-launched plane to hold the world's absolute speed record (753.4 mph) and was the first Navy fighter capable of exceeding Mach 1 in level flight. It was one of the most effective interceptors of its era.

This Jetex model kit includes a full-size rolled plan, building instructions, printed balsa, hand-picked balsa strip wood, vacuum-formed canopy, wire, and Easy Built Lite tissue. You will need a hobby knife, fine sandpaper, building board, pins, glue, and a Rapier or Jetex 50 motor and fuel or catapult rubber.
