The Half A Wasp is a down-sized version of the original Wasp. Texaco size model, for .049 engines. Designed by Robert Milligan, 1938-1939 Senior Canadian Champion. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
 
This free flight gas powered model kit contains full-size rolled plans, instructions, printed wood, highest quality balsa sheet wood and stripwood, hardwood, wire, and tissue covering. You will need an engine, fuel tank, fuel, propeller, and wheels, building board, cutting tools, sandpaper, pins, glue, and paint.

Henry Forbes of South Carolina built this 1/2A Wasp. He had this to say, "It is powered by a Texaco .049 Cox and is 2 channel r/c. The nose was extended 3/4" to help balancing. It flys great!
