Kit D-11LC Bleriot X1 is a 1:20 scale museum display model of the
French pioneer aircraft.
On July 25, 1909 French aviator, builder, and aircraft designer Louis Bleriot successfully
crossed the English Channel from Calais to Dover in 36.5 minutes
in his Bleriot XI using an Anzani engine designed by the
Italian engineer Alessandro Anzani.
This display kit contains a full-size plan, building instructions, hand-picked
competition weight LASER CUT balsa parts and balsa
strip wood, dowels, wire, and Easy
Built Lite tissue in
linen.You will need a building board, pins,
thread, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue. The builder
determines the level of detail for this model and may need to supply
additional materials.
